What’s new
What has changed in Running ikigai, most recent first: the date, what was added or changed, and the pages to read for it. Smaller upkeep (moving to a newer release when nothing a reader does changes, a corrected link, a typo) is not listed.

2026-10-27: A new book, for operators: the ikigai binary, its flags and subcommands, and what it takes to run kernels for real. Every command in it is run against a pinned release whenever the book is built, so its output cannot go stale. The first chapter is “The REPL and its modes”: the full-screen and line REPLs, a quiet session that replays from a file, -c batches and how they read stdin, pipes, maps and forks, Lisp with -e and –load, describe and help, and the same REPL attached to a served kernel with –connect. The rest of the outline is in the table of contents.
